Paushtik Life is headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. The organization was founded with the vision of providing pure, healthy, and wholesome organic food to consumers while also creating sustainable livelihoods for local farmers.

Paushtik Life was established around 2017-2018, reflecting over 7 years of experience in the organic food and sustainable agriculture sector. Since its inception, the organization has partnered with numerous certified farmers, producer cooperatives, and rural communities to promote nutrition, health, and responsible consumption across West Bengal and beyond.

Our products are sourced from different districts of West Bengal (North & South 24 Parganas, Dinajpur, Nadia, Bankura, Purulia, Medinipur, Birbhum, Alipurduar, Jhargram, Darjeeling, Malda, Murshidabad) and from different states of India like: Sikkim, Telengana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Gujrat, Rajasthan, Kashmir, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Manipur based famer co-operatives, FPO, SHG, NGOs.

It is involved in field production of crops, processing, product development and marketing of organic products. Organic food doesn't always cost more. Some items may cost the same or even less than their conventional counterparts. As the demand for organic products increases, the cost will come down. Also, Organic farmers do not receive any subsidies like conventional farmers get on fertilizers. The price of organic food is the true cost of growing -

The price of conventional food does not reflect the cost of environmental cleanups that we pay for through our tax. Organic farming is more labor and management intensive. Organic farms are usually smaller than conventional farms and so do not benefit from the economies of scale that larger growers get.

A label helps you to identify whether the product is organic or not. Usually, an internationally recognized body certifies the companies products. An organic seal assures consumers of the quality and integrity of organic products. Organic-certified operations must have an organic system plan and records that verify compliance with that plan.

High nitrogen application to plant foods can increase crude protein concentration but decrease the nutritional value of that protein. Conventional fertilizing practices could possibly result in higher crude protein content but poorer quality protein than organic practices. There is considerable evidence from controlled experiments that some organic fertilizers result in lower nitrate concentrations in plants compared to conventional fertilization.

The ultimate test of the nutritional value of food is its ability to support health, growth, and reproduction over successive generations of animals or humans. Evidence for increased disease resistance, productivity, or fertility of animals feeding on organically grown fodder is largely anecdotal.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are hand picked, cleaned and hand packed.. We ensure hygienic and careful handling of all our products.

Every fruit and vegetable varies a little in size and weight. While you shop we show an estimated weight and price for everything priced by kilogram. At the time of delivery we weigh each item to determine the final price.

We have a dedicated team of delivery personnel and a fleet of vehicles operating across the city which ensures timely and accurate delivery to our customers.

Cut off time is the time after which the order gets processed for delivery. After this time you will not be able to modify or cancel your order. If you wish to get your delivery within 24 hours, you have to order before 11 am.

No, you will not be able to make any changes to your order after the cut off time for your selected slot. However, if you do not wish to buy a product you may return it at the time of delivery and the amount will be credited to your Paushtik Life account.
